Here Comes the Boom Short Description :

Scott Voss is a professor of biology at a high school, but not necessarily a role model. When the headmaster announces that a meeting will be cut all extra-curricular activities, which will affect students and teachers, Scott stand up and take action. He believes that instead of school budget cuts instead should organize fundraising activities and obtain additional income. Of his colleagues not to support anyone at first, but he discovers martial arts televised matches, where even the losers win a lot of money. Therefore decide to engage in fights, though of course that has no idea how to fight in the ring. The important thing is that he’s willing to learn and make an effort and this will be enough to inspire others.

Here Comes the Boom Plot :

Former collegiate wrestler Scott Voss is a 42-year-old apathetic biology teacher in a failing high school. When cutbacks threaten to cancel the music program and lay off its teacher, Scott begins to raise money by moonlighting as a mixed martial arts fighter. Everyone thinks Scott is crazy most of all the school nurse, Bella but in his quest, Scott gains something he never expected as he becomes a sensation that rallies the entire school.
